We are so excited to show off our brand new front office and conference room. If you have ever been to our front office you know what a great improvement this is. We love it.

Basket Connection Show

We spent last weekend at the Basket Connection Trade Show. This is a convention attended by professional gift basket creators from all over the country. They attend classes for a few days and then the last couple of days are spent at the trade show putting together orders. Our products have always been popular with gift basket creators.

This is a cute little grab and go gift that one of the instructors used in a class she taught. It features our Halloween Sours and a bag of our ghost droppings on top of a box of Halloween fortune cookies sold by creative cookie.

Salt Lake Gift Show

We spent last weekend at the Salt lake Gift Show. We always see some of our favorite and most loyal customers there. It is always so exciting to take new products to a trade show and see how our wholesale customers respond. I am happy to report that the Halloween Berries, Creepy Peepers and Monster Mash were the most popular bags from the Halloween line.

The new Christmas Deluxe Mix, and the 8 pc Assorted Truffle box also sold really well.

We have been attending this gift show for almost 10 years. I love this show because it is filled with lots of Utah based companies. One of my favorite companies is the Blue Cattle Truck Trading Co.

They import Mexican Vanilla and sell a brownie and chocolate chip cookie mix. They are always so nice and keep us supplied with warm cookies and brownies throughout the show. We sell their great products in our retail store and use their vanilla to make the delicious fudge sold in our retail store.

Halloween Sneak Peek

I wanted to give you a quick look at one of our new Halloween products.

Yes, I know it's August, but in our candy-centric world August is when we finish up Halloween. This year we're adding some new products and a few bigger-sized bags while still keeping a few of our old favorites like Candy Corn and Halloween Sours. My favorite new product for Halloween is "Monster Lab".

First of all, while it's possible I'm a tad biased on the subject, this is my favorite new label due mostly to the fact that it gave me cause to make this little guy...

I don't know what he's pointing at but I'm pretty sure he means business.

Not only are the foil-wrapped pieces of chocolate extremely tasty but they also happen to be really fun.

In fact, I would challenge anyone to try and stare at them without eventually doing this...

Seriously, I dare you.

All of our Halloween products will be available to order on September 15th which means you now have a reason to want summer to end.
