An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

It’s almost Valentine’s Day!!! And we are crazy busy getting ready here at the factory! There is a lot to do! Today, I was in charge of making caramel, chocolate apples. I lucked out because these are my favorite!

It’s a long process… first we have to de-steam, wash and dry the apples. Next we stick all of them with sticks. After that, we dip them in caramel. When the caramel sets up its time to dip them in chocolate. Then finally they are ready to be decorated! Some of them we carefully string with milk, and white chocolate to make our drizzled apples and some of them are covered with cinnamon sugar to make our famous apple pie apples!
